December in Tokyo means Christmas lights. Many areas around Tokyo string up lights to celebrate Christmas. Early in December I went to Roppongi and here are some of the Christmas lights in Midtown and Roppongi hills. Youtube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MloC2iARspY.

Very nice! I didn't know Louise Bourgeois' sculpture (the Giant Spyder) could also be found in Tokyo. Called "Maman" ("Mother" Brrrr!), it is very impressive. Enjoy Christmas time!

Thank you for the comment and for your seasons wishes. Fortunantly, or is that beaver tail unfortuantly, its nowhere near as cold here as around the spider in Ottawa. The last time I saw the spider in Ottawa it was pearched in the snow. Caio
